Al fine di salvaguardare le batterie dai danni derivanti dalle scaricheprofonde, la soglia di tensione di batteria minima consentita varia automaticamente in funzione del carico applicato (impostazione di default), pur concedendo all’utente la possibilità di selezionare una gestione a soglie di tensione fisse. Un software di diagnostica e shutdown (UPS Communicator), seopportunamente installato in un PC collegato all’UPS, consente di accedere a tutti i dati di funzionamento, effettuare regolazioni e impostazioni delle funzioni speciali e controllare lo shutdown de isistemi operativi Windows e Linux.
